Sep 21, 2025 クリニック設計の新規プロジェクト｜Good Condition Clinic New Project

PODAが設計監理を行ったクリニック設計の新規プロジェクト「Good Condition Clinic」が、荒川修作の思想に着想を得た空間として2025年9月にオープンしました。院長のご意向で、〈養老天命反転地〉 (1995) で知られる荒川修作の初期代表作〈ボトムレス〉（1963）をモチーフにしたクリニックが9月に開業しました。1994〜98年にArakawa＋Ginsニューヨークオフィスに在籍した経験もあり、このたび田村がクリニック本体の設計を担当しました。待合には〈天命反転球体〉や〈天命反転茶室〉の空間体験モデルを設置。来院者が「わたし」を再組織化する契機となることを意図しています。臨床空間としてだけでなく、待合はアートギャラリーやワークショップの場としても活用予定。地域に開かれた多様な活動拠点として、今後の展開も楽しみなプロジェクトです。 こちらからもご覧いただけます。 Following the vision of the Director, a clinic inspired by Shusaku Arakawa, known for Site of Reversible Destiny - Yoro Park  (1995) and his early landmark work Bottomless (1963), opened in September. Having worked at Arakawa＋Gins New York office from 1994 to 1998, I was invited to take part in its design.The waiting area features spatial experience models called the Reversible Destiny Sphere and Reversible Destiny Tea Room, intended to give visitors an opportunity to “reorganize the self.” Beyond its clinical function, the waiting area will also serve as a space for art exhibitions and workshops, acting as a versatile hub for community activities.
